That’s right you read it right. Roast coffee on steak. Trust me it is amazing! I did this with an 8oz Sirloin steak for the photo but it can go on any steak.
For the best result apply the rub and leave at room temperature, for about 20 mins. Now pre-heat your oven to 180oc in a fan assisted oven. Back to the pan, a medium to high heat and a little oil seal the meat for about 2 mins each. Lastly, pop the beef in to the oven and roast for about 6 mins for medium heat. Don’t forget to rest for about 4 mins before serving.
For this dish I served it with some garlic buttered new potatoes, fresh green beans with red wine jus.
